I wake up
and go for a shower
and wash my hair
and cleanse my face
and put a hair mask on
and exfoliate
and shave my legs
and cut my ankle
and watch the blood start pouring
and watch the blood wash down the drain
and the blood doesn’t stop
and the shower floor is starting to turn red
and I think how nice it would be to die
and I rinse the mask out my hair
and I dry myself off
and I go about my day.
